Despite the frigid temperatures outside, guests inside the Halls of St. George were fired up by dancing and having a blast with friends for Lake Central’s “Frozen in Time” Winter Formal. The Winter Formal DJ, uplighting and photobooths kept the evening cool by transforming the room into a frozen wonderland complete with winter themed décor and hot mixed music.
The DJ for Lake Central’s Winter Formal used twinkling Christmas lights to add an extra special touch of winter to the six truss towers of various heights that changed colors like a snowy night. Blacklights around the room made the white tree centerpieces glow incandescently beside the snowflake encrusted tree stumps. White, blue and cyan uplights set the mood for an arctic wonderland, completing the “Frozen in Time” theme.
Later in the evening, as the Winter Formal King and Queen were announced, “Story of My Life” by One Direction played. As the second chorus of the song was ending, the DJ made a surprising and sly transition on the word “Frozen” and the song melted into “Timber” by Ke$ha and Pittbull, pumping up party goers and setting the night on fire once again!
Two photobooths in the outside hallways allowed guests to jump in and take three color photos all night long with a variety of fun props. White drapes to match the theme hung in the background and surrounded the booths. “Frozen in Time” themed matching photo strip designs were printed instantly for guests. announced, “Story of My Life” by One Direction played. Even though the speakers inside the room were of so powerful they sent chills down everyone’s spine, speakers in the hallway were a nice compliment as young adults stood in line for the photobooths.
